The PGA Tour will host another tournament this week, which happens October 4th through the 10th, and will be held at the Seaside at Sea Island Golf Club in Sea Island, Georgia and will see some of the greatest on the tour come through as we head to the end of the 2010 season for the PGA Tour. This is the first year for the McGladrey Classic and it is named for RSM McGladrey, which is the tournaments main sponsor and is an account and tax consultant that is famous all over the nation. The tournament logo was shown in March, to prepare for this tournament, with Davis Love III and Zach Johnson in attendance. The logo was painted by Rock Demarco. The tournament starts on Thursday, October 7th, with round one starting times not yet announced, and will continue through Sunday, when the fourth and final round will be played.
The field for the McGladry Classic includes Blake Adams and Michael Allen, as well as Rich Barcelo, Ricky Barnes, Michael Bradley, Chris Couch, Chris DiMarco, Jeff Gove, Tim Herron and J.B.
