On the PGA Tour this week is the final of our three featured events on the Tour, the President's Cup, held at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, in Victoria, Australia, from November 17th to the 20th. This event follows the other two featured events this year, the first from October 27th to the 30th called the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia, and won by Bo Van Pelt, and the other the World Golf Championships HSBC Champions held in Shanghai, China from the 3rd of November to the 6th. Martin Kaymer won that event.

This will actually happen on the first day, when Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker will face off against Adam Scott and K.J. Choi. Aside from this great matchup, another one to watch on the first day will be Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson against Ernie Els and Ryo Ishikawa. Bubba had a strong showing at last week's Australian Open and Webb Simpson is in the running for the player of the year on the PGA Tour.

The PGA Tour's "Fall Series" continues this week with the Frys.com Open at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, California. Rocco Mediate defends the title and Tiger Woods is in the field.


Last year veteran PGA Tour player Rocco Mediate completed a remarkable one-shot victory in this event. During the week he holed out for eagle in every round, including a hole-in-one at the par-3 3rd in round one. He'll be back this year to defend but he'll face a strong field that includes former World Number 1 Tiger Woods.
