This tournament will happen from October 7th through the 10th, and it happens at the Old Course at St. Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns in Fife, Scotland. The Alfred Dunhill Championship is worth $5,000,000 and the Old Course at St. Andrews Carnoustie and Kingsbarn is a Par 72 course with a total yardage of 7,350. The tournament before this one was the Vivendi Cup, which was won by John Parry, in Paris France. That tournament was held September 23rd through the 26th, for a purse of €1,250,000. Also this month we had the Austrian GolfOpen presented by Botarin, held September 16th through the 19th and on by Jose Manuel at the Diamond Country Club in Austria.
The field for this tournament includes Lee Westwood, Martin Kaymer, and Rory McIlroy, as well as Ernie Els and Graeme McDowell.
